On the fourth Tuesday of every month, Gilroy After Hours Rotary brings informative presentations that educate and inspire. On Tuesday, September 28, Rotarians and guests will hear about the Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley with guest speaker, Steve Wymer, President & CEO of the organization that has been serving youth for 75+ years.
A passionate advocate for the community, Steve Wymer has served in a diverse array of leadership roles in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. After nearly a decade as a spokesperson and advisor to three United States Senators in Washington, DC, Steve served in senior executive roles at TiVo, Nextdoor.com, and eBay in the Bay Area before joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley as President & CEO in the fall of 2020.
The Boys and Girls Clubs provide a safe place to learn, play, and grow. The non-profit youth development organization offers innovative and effective afterschool and summer enrichment programs primarily for low-income, at-risk Santa Clara County youth ages 6 – 18 years.
